Citrumelo or Citromelo (X Citroncirus spp.) is also called Swingle citrumelo trifoliate hybrid, because it is a cold hardy citrus hybrid between a 'Duncan' grapefruit and a trifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata (L.) Raf.), developed by Walter Tennyson Swingle. [1]
