Leonid Nikolaevich Gobyato (Леонид Николаевич Гобято) (6 February 1875 – 21 May 1915) was a lieutenant-general (awarded posthumously in 1915) in the Imperial Russian Army and designer of the modern, man-portable mortar. [1]
