The Hyundai Trajet (Hangul: 현대 트라제; pronounced as tra-jay, derived from the French word, meaning "travel from one point to another")) is a seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle that was manufactured by Hyundai Motor Company between 1999 and 2008. The series was launched in 1999, with the 2.0 GSI models and a choice of gasoline, diesel or LPG power, followed by the limited edition SE 2.7 V6 in 2001. Sales began in South Korea in April 1999, and the vehicle arrived to Europe in March 2000. The premiere for the United Kingdom was at the London Motorfair in October 1999. [1]
