The bouzouki (also buzuki; μπουζούκι; plural bouzoukia μπουζούκια) is a musical instrument popular in Greece that was brought there in the 1900s by Greek immigrants from Asia Minor, and quickly became the central instrument to the rebetiko genre and its music branches. Martin Lancelot Barre (born 17 November 1946) is an English rock musician best known for his work with progressive rock band Jethro Tull, with whom he recorded and toured from their second album in 1969 to the band's initial dissolution in 2012.
