Daniel Wafena Bell (July 23, 1891 – October 4, 1971) was an American civil servant and businessman. Major General Kenneth David Nichols (13 November 1907 – 21 February 2000), also known by Nick, was an army officer in the United States Army, and a civil engineer who is notable for his classified works in the Manhattan Project, which developed the atomic bomb during World War II, as Deputy District Engineer to James C. Marshall, and from 13 August 1943 as the District Engineer of the Manhattan Engineer District.
