Zdenko Matthew "Zed" Seselja (born 27 March 1977) is an Australian politician. He is the Assistant Minister for Science, Jobs and Innovation since 20 December 2017. Seselja was elected to the Australian Senate as a representative of the Australian Capital Territory and member of the Liberal Party for a term which commenced on 7 September 2013. Seselja served as the Assistant Minister for Social Services and Multicultural Affairs between July 2016 and December 2017. He was a member of the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly from 2004 to 2013. He was the territory's 12th Opposition Leader, serving in that position from December 2007 to January 2013. Seselja is of Croatian descent.
