This is the G-series List of U.S. military vehicles by supply catalog designation. The U.S. Army Ordnance Corps Supply Catalog used an alpha-numeric system, based on a Standard Nomenclature List from about the mid-1920s to about 1958, in which the G-series numbers were designated to represent the various U.S. military vehicles and directly related materiel. [1]
