Call-out culture is a term for the social phenomenon, often seen on the campuses of American colleges and universities, of expressing outrage at microaggressions, beliefs that are alleged to be bigoted, and social faux pas, and subjecting the perpetrators of such violations to harsh denunciation in person or shaming on social media ("call-outs").
