Life Is Beautiful (Chinese: 初一的心愿) is a Singaporean Chinese drama produced by MediaCorp Channel 8. The drama is a collaboration between MediaCorp and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), which hopes to raise awareness of kidney-related diseases. A lensing ceremony was held on 30 June 2014. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day. It will be aired from 5 March 2015. The Series is repeated at 12pm to 2pm on Channel 8 on Sunday. Your Hand In Mine (Chinese: 想握你的手) was a long-running TV drama that was produced by Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp TV Channel 8. It is the longest local drama that had been produced by Mediacorp to date, with 180 episodes. It was shown on weekdays at 7 pm. It stars Huang Wenyong, Chen Liping, Yvonne Lim, Cai Peixuan, Belinda Lee, Shaun Chen, Paige Chua,Joanne Peh & Cavin Soh as casts of this series. The series was repeated twice on Mediacorp Channel 8 on weekdays at 2 am - 4 am & on weekends at 4.30pm - 6.30pm. On 14 May, it will re-telecast at 2.30pm from Monday to Friday. The drama started airing by 7 pm primetime slot on 9 November 2009 and ended its run on 16 July 2010. The drama acquired a loyal following since its debut in November 2009 and some viewers had requested MediaCorp to extend the drama to 200 episodes and beyond. This drama was encored on weekends at 4.30pm from 17 March 2012, with some episodes between 1-90 and 91-180 rated PG. The repeat telecast was pre-empted for a few variety specials during episodes 1-90. It was also a mid-year blockbuster for 2010 (from episodes 91-180). Your Hand In Mine was the first Mediacorp production to be filmed entirely at outdoor locations like Lentor and Tanjong Katong and the second to be filmed in high definition after The Ultimatum.
