In Greek mythology, Spartoi (also Sparti) (Σπαρτοί, literal translation: "sown ", from σπείρω, speírō, "to sow") are a mythical people who sprang up from the dragon's teeth sown by Cadmus and were believed to be the ancestors of the Theban nobility. [1]
