9 Dead Alive is the fourth studio album by Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela released on April 25, 2014 in Ireland and on April 29, 2014 internationally. Fram ("Forward") is a ship that was used in expeditions of the Arctic and Antarctic regions by the Norwegian explorers Fridtjof Nansen, Otto Sverdrup, Oscar Wisting, and Roald Amundsen between 1893 and 1912.
