Tanah Merah MRT station (EW4/CG) is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station located in Bedok, Singapore. Other than the main service (EW4), Tanah Merah station is also the terminus for the Changi Airport branch line (CG) which is also part of the East West line. Tanah Merah station is one of the three fully above-ground interchange stations on the Singapore MRT/LRT network; the other two being Jurong East MRT station and Choa Chu Kang MRT/LRT station. It is also one of the two stations that serve both a main service and a branch service; the other station being Promenade MRT station.
