Difference between Assembly language and IA-32

Assembly language vs. IA-32

An assembly (or assembler) language, often abbreviated asm, is a low-level programming language, in which there is a very strong (but often not one-to-one) correspondence between the assembly program statements and the architecture's machine code instructions. IA-32 (short for "Intel Architecture, 32-bit", sometimes also called i386) is the 32-bit version of the x86 instruction set architecture, first implemented in the Intel 80386 microprocessors in 1985.

Similarities between Assembly language and IA-32

Assembly language and IA-32 have 6 things in common (in Unionpedia): Bit, Instruction set architecture, Operating system, Processor register, Stack (abstract data type), X86.
