Difference between Auger therapy and Bremsstrahlung

Auger therapy vs. Bremsstrahlung

Auger therapy (AT) is a form of radiation therapy for the treatment of cancer which relies on a large number of low-energy electrons (emitted by the Auger effect) to damage cancer cells, rather than the high-energy radiation used in traditional radiation therapy. Bremsstrahlung, from bremsen "to brake" and Strahlung "radiation"; i.e., "braking radiation" or "deceleration radiation", is electromagnetic radiation produced by the deceleration of a charged particle when deflected by another charged particle, typically an electron by an atomic nucleus.

Similarities between Auger therapy and Bremsstrahlung

Auger therapy and Bremsstrahlung have 6 things in common (in Unionpedia): Electron, Electronvolt, Kinetic energy, Photon, Synchrotron radiation, X-ray tube.
