Btx or BTX) was a V.23 online service (an interactive videotex system) launched in West Germany in 1983 by the Deutsche Bundespost, the (West) German postal service. The Deutsche Mark ("German mark"), abbreviated "DM" or, was the official currency of West Germany from 1948 until 1990 and later the unified Germany from 1990 until 2002.
