Difference between Cross-polytope and Ludwig Schläfli

Cross-polytope vs. Ludwig Schläfli

In geometry, a cross-polytope, orthoplex, hyperoctahedron, or cocube is a regular, convex polytope that exists in n-dimensions. Ludwig Schläfli (15 January 1814 – 20 March 1895) was a Swiss mathematician, specialising in geometry and complex analysis (at the time called function theory) who was one of the key figures in developing the notion of higher-dimensional spaces.

Similarities between Cross-polytope and Ludwig Schläfli

Cross-polytope and Ludwig Schläfli have 10 things in common (in Unionpedia): Dimension, Geometry, Harold Scott MacDonald Coxeter, John Horton Conway, Platonic solid, Polygon, Polyhedron, Polytope, Regular 4-polytope, Schläfli symbol.

Dimension

In physics and mathematics, the dimension of a mathematical space (or object) is informally defined as the minimum number of coordinates needed to specify any point within it.
