The Czechs (Češi,; singular masculine: Čech, singular feminine: Češka) or the Czech people (Český národ), are a West Slavic ethnic group and a nation native to the Czech Republic in Central Europe, who share a common ancestry, culture, history and Czech language. Jerzy Karol Buzek (born 3 July 1940) is a Polish politician and Member of the European Parliament from Poland.
