Difference between Dichroism and Light therapy

Dichroism vs. Light therapy

In optics, a dichroic material is either one which causes visible light to be split up into distinct beams of different wavelengths (colours) (not to be confused with dispersion), or one in which light rays having different polarizations are absorbed by different amounts. Light therapy—or phototherapy, classically referred to as heliotherapy—consists of exposure to daylight or to specific wavelengths of light using polychromatic polarised light, lasers, light-emitting diodes, fluorescent lamps, dichroic lamps or very bright, full-spectrum light.

Similarities between Dichroism and Light therapy

Dichroism and Light therapy have 3 things in common (in Unionpedia): Dichroism, Light, Polarization (waves).
