In addition to the conventional "squared circle", the promotion occasionally uses a hexagonal wrestling ring. The promotion has had working relationships with other Mexican promotions, as well as several American promotions; such as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Major League Wrestling (MLW), and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). AAA primarily hosts pay-per-views (PPV) events in Mexico, and has also promoted international events in the United States and Japan.
