Difference between Hormone and SK3

Hormone vs. SK3

A hormone (from the Greek participle “ὁρμῶ”, "to set in motion, urge on") is any member of a class of signaling molecules produced by glands in multicellular organisms that are transported by the circulatory system to target distant organs to regulate physiology and behaviour. SK3 (small conductance calcium-activated potassium channel 3) also known as KCa2.3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KCNN3 gene.

Similarities between Hormone and SK3

Hormone and SK3 have 10 things in common (in Unionpedia): Cell membrane, Estrogen, Gene, Gene expression, Hormone, Pancreas, Protein, Sex steroid, Small intestine, Transcription (biology).

Cell membrane

The cell membrane (also known as the plasma membrane or cytoplasmic membrane, and historically referred to as the plasmalemma) is a biological membrane that separates the interior of all cells from the outside environment (the extracellular space).
