Difference between Land reclamation and Longshore drift

Land reclamation vs. Longshore drift

Land reclamation, usually known as reclamation, and also known as land fill (not to be confused with a landfill), is the process of creating new land from ocean, riverbeds, or lake beds. Longshore drift is a geological process that consists of the transportation of sediments (clay, silt, sand and shingle) along a coast parallel to the shoreline, which is dependent on oblique incoming wind direction.

Similarities between Land reclamation and Longshore drift

Land reclamation and Longshore drift have 4 things in common (in Unionpedia): Coastal management, Flood, River delta, Shore.
