Although technically a princess of Teck, in the Kingdom of Württemberg, she was born and raised in England. Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge, (Adolphus Frederick; 24 February 1774 – 8 July 1850) was the tenth child and seventh son of the British king George III and Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
