He last drove the No. 14 Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing as an interim driver in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for the injured Tony Stewart. He won the 2003 NASCAR Busch Series championship driving for Hendrick Motorsports. Vickers was also among the first series of full-time drivers for Toyota after the manufacturer first entered the Sprint Cup Series. Vickers' career has been marred by a series of health issues since 2010 that have included blood clots and heart problems.

Dodge Challenger

The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations of automobiles (two of those being pony cars) produced by Dodge. However, the first use of the Challenger name by Dodge was in 1959 for marketing a "value version" of the full-sized Coronet Silver Challenger. From model years 1970 to 1974, the first generation Dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler E platform in hardtop and convertible body styles sharing major components with the Plymouth Barracuda. The second generation, from 1978 to 1983, was an imported from Japan badge engineered Mitsubishi Galant Lambda, a coupe version of an economical compact car. The third and current generation is a pony car that was introduced in early 2008 as a rival to the evolved fifth generation Ford Mustang and the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro.

Son of former NASCAR driver Jerry Hill, he currently competes part-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 51 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Rick Ware Racing, and the No. 66 Toyota Camry for MBM Motorsports and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 66 for MBM Motorsports. Hill was born in Port Tobacco, Maryland, and began racing go-karts at the age of 12. In Karting, he won two World Karting Association championships, two King George Speedway track championships, the Concord Speedway Winter Championship. Afterward, Hill raced in Legend cars, the Allison Legacy Series, the K&N Pro Series East and the ARCA Racing Series. In 2011, Hill moved to Rick Ware Racing in the Nationwide Series, where he won Rookie of the Year honors.
