The Devil's Table (Teufelstisch) in Hinterweidenthal is a 14 metre high mushroom rock in the German part of the Wasgau region, the southern Palatine Forest in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate). Thanks to its location in the territory of the village of Kaltenbach - formerly part of Wilgartswiesen – it is often called the Kaltenbach Devil's Table (Kaltenbacher Teufelstisch), especially in old literary sources. It is larger and better known than the Devil's Table of Salzwoog, which is only 5 kilometres away to the southwest. The Hinterweidenthal Devil's Table is one of the landscape symbols of the Palatinate and is also the subject of a local legend. In 1947 the rock was portrayed on a Rhineland-Palatinate postage stamp.

The is a river in the Palatinate Forest, in the (Palatinate region of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is the strongest headwater of the Speyerbach, which is the largest river in the Anterior Palatinate. The Erlenbach rises at a height of about 460 m on the eastern slope of the Eschkopf (609 m), hence on the eastern side of the Palatinate watershed. If flows generally to the north and after only 5 km flows into the Speyerbach shortly after the latter's nominal spring at Speyerbrunn. Hydrologically speaking, the origin of the Erlenbach is the real origin of the Speyerbach. The distance from the Erlenbach's spring to the Speyerbach's confluence with the Rhine is 60 km. The drainage basin of the Erlenbach/Speyerbach system measures 596 km².

Schaudichnichtum Lodge ((Schloss Schaudichnichtum) was a former hunting lodge southwest of the town of Bad Dürkheim in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Like its near neighbours, Kehrdichannichts, Murrmirnichtviel and Jägerthal, it was used as accommodation for the nobility of the Electoral Palatinate during the 18th century when they went hunting in the Palatine Forest. The Weinbiet is a hill,, in the borough of Neustadt an der Weinstraße in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate and is one of the highest hills in the Haardt, the line of mountains and hills forming the eastern edge of the Palatine Forest and facing the Upper Rhine Plain. On the summit is an inn, the Weinbiethaus, a stone-built panorama tower with a weather station and a radio transmission mast. The two striking towers have made the hill a regional landmark above the plains roughly 400 metres below.
