Emmanouil Papadopoulos (Εμμανουήλ Παπαδόπουλος, Emmanuil Grigorievich Papandopulo; died 11 June 1810) was a Greek officer in Imperial Russian service, who fought in the Russo-Turkish Wars and the Napoleonic Wars and rose to the rank of major general. Odessa (Оде́са; Оде́сса; אַדעס) is the third most populous city of Ukraine and a major tourism center, seaport and transportation hub located on the northwestern shore of the Black Sea.

Other longstanding Greek populations can be found from southern Italy to the Caucasus and southern Russia and Ukraine and in the Greek diaspora communities in a number of other countries.
