A rave (from the verb: to rave) is an organized dance party at a nightclub, outdoor festival, warehouse, or other private property typically featuring performances by DJs, playing a seamless flow of electronic dance music. The Fridge was a nightclub in the Brixton area of South London, founded by Andrew Czezowski and Susan Carrington, who had run the Roxy during punk music's heyday in 1977.
