Derek Ronald Sherborn (7 May 1924 – 4 July 2004) was a British conservationist and Principal Investigator of historic buildings for the Ministry of Town and Country Planning, who played a major role in the rescue of historical properties, making a pioneering contribution to the preservation of England's architectural heritage. ^[1]
