The attempted coup d'état of March 1935 (Κίνημα του 1935) was a Venizelist revolt against the People's Party government of Panagis Tsaldaris, which was suspected of pro-royalist tendencies. Stefanos Sarafis (Στέφανος Σαράφης, 23 October 1890 – 31 May 1957) was an officer of the Hellenic Army who played an important role during the Greek Resistance.
