Jason Zhang

Zhang Jie (born 20 December 1982) also known as Jason Zhang is a Chinese pop singer. Zhang was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Zhang made his television series debut in the reality singing competition My Show in 2004 which he won. In August 2014, Zhang attended the opening ceremony of The 2nd Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing as one of the singers of the theme song. On November 24, Zhang won "Best International Artist" at the 46th American Music Awards. In April 2016, Zhang set up his personal label, Planet Culture. In July, he started his world tour, Sound Of My Heart, the first stop being Beijing Workers' Stadium. In August, Zhang became China film endorser of Star Trek Beyond and released the theme song, Lost In The Stars. On August 18, Zhang attended the film's premiere at Embarcadero Marina Park South. In November, Zhang released the promotion song of Allied, Give You My World. In 2017, Zhang had a world tour to the US, Canada, Malaysia, Australia, Italy and the UK. In June, Zhang released China's theme song for Transformers: The Last Knight,Torches. By the end of May 2017, Zhang has recorded 12 albums and held 34 concerts. Zhang has won the Most Popular Male Singer Award 33 times and Best Male Singer 12 times.
