Rana Daggubati

Ramanaidu "Rana" Daggubati (born 14 December 1984), also known by his stage name Rana Daggubati, is an Indian actor, producer, visual effects co-ordinator and photographer. He works in Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema and Hindi cinema. As a Visual Effects producer, Rana won the State Nandi Award for Best Special Effects in 2006 for the Telugu film Sainikudu. In 2006, he received the National Film Award for co-producing Bommalata – A Bellyful of Dreams. In 2010, he made his acting debut with the Telugu blockbuster Leader, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He made his Hindi film debut through Dum Maaro Dum, alongside Bipasha Basu, where he received positive reviews for his performance. In 2015, he starred as the main antagonist in Baahubali: The Beginning, which recorded the second highest gross opening for an Indian film, and later reprised his role as Bhallaldeva in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which became the highest grossing Indian film of all time. He has also been in the successful movies The Ghazi Attack, playing Lieutenant Commander Arjun Verma and Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Rana is also an established television personality, as he hosted award shows such as the 2nd IIFA Utsavam alongside Nani, the 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards and he currently hosts his own celebrity talk show, No. 1 Yaari, which brought celebrities such as S.S. Rajamouli, Naga Chaitanya, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Navdeep, Nikhil Siddharth, Raj Tarun and others In 2015, his movie Baahubali The Beginning won a National Award for Best Feature Film. Further, at the 65th National Awards, held in 2018, his movie The Ghazi Attack won the National Award for Best Telugu Movie, and also Best Action, Best VFX and Best Popular Film Award for Baahubali 2 The Conclusion.

Savitri Ganesan (neé Nissankara; died 26 December 1981) was an Indian film actress, playback singer, dancer, director and producer. She appeared mainly in Telugu and Tamil language films but also in Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi language films. Savitri's first significant role was in the 1952 Telugu film Pelli Chesi Choodu. In 1960, she received the Rashtrapati Award for her performance in the Telugu film Chivaraku Migiledi. In 1968, she produced and directed the Telugu film Chinnari Papalu, for which she received the state Nandi Award for Best Feature Film (Silver). She was honoured among "women in cinema" at the 30th International Film Festival of India. She is best known for her work in films such as Devadasu (1953), Ardhangi (1955), Thodi Kodallu (1957), Mayabazaar (1957), Mangalya Balam (1958), Chivaraku Migiledi (1960), Mooga Manasulu (1963), Doctor Chakravarthy (1964), and Varakatnam (1968). Her Tamil work includes Kalathur Kannamma (1959), Pasamalar (1961), Pava Mannippu (1961), Paarthal Pasi Theerum (1962), Karpagam (1963), Karnan (1963), Kai Koduttha Dheivam, Navarathri (1964), and Thiruvilaiyadal (1965). Savitri's later career, from the late 1960s, tumbled into a spiral of financial problems and alcoholism that necessitated her taking on film roles of little merit.
