Difference between Energia and Sub-orbital spaceflight

Energia vs. Sub-orbital spaceflight

Energia (Энергия, Energiya, "Energy") (GRAU 11K25) was a Soviet rocket that was designed by NPO Energia to serve as a heavy-lift partially recoverable launch system for a variety of payloads including the Buran spacecraft. A sub-orbital spaceflight is a spaceflight in which the spacecraft reaches space, but its trajectory intersects the atmosphere or surface of the gravitating body from which it was launched, so that it will not complete one orbital revolution.

Similarities between Energia and Sub-orbital spaceflight

Energia and Sub-orbital spaceflight have 3 things in common (in Unionpedia): Low Earth orbit, Polyus (spacecraft), Soviet Union.

Low Earth orbit

A low Earth orbit (LEO) is an orbit around Earth with an altitude of or less, and with an orbital period of between about 84 and 127 minutes.
