Hristo Chernopeev (Христо Чернопеев) (1868, Dermantsi, Ottoman Empire, today Bulgaria – 6 November 1915, Krivolak, Kingdom of Serbia, today Republic of Macedonia) was a Bulgarian Army officer and member of the revolutionary movement in Macedonia. Krastyo Hadzhipetrov Asenov, nicknamed Mechkata (the Bear), Ogneniot daskal (the Fiery Teacher) and Cherkeza (the Circassian), was a Bulgarian revolutionary figure active in the region of Macedonia, one of the voyvodas of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organization (IMARO) for the Enidzhe Vardar region.
