Difference between Hyperconjugation and James Bryant Conant

Hyperconjugation vs. James Bryant Conant

In organic chemistry, hyperconjugation is the interaction of the electrons in a sigma orbital (e.g. C–H or C–C) with an adjacent empty (or partially filled) non-bonding orbital, antibonding σ or π orbital, to give an extended molecular orbital. James Bryant Conant (March 26, 1893 – February 11, 1978) was an American chemist, a transformative President of Harvard University, and the first U.S. Ambassador to West Germany.
