Interstate 69 (I-69) is a freeway that runs concurrently with I-24 from Calvert City to Eddyville, the Western Kentucky Parkway from Eddyville to Interstate 169 (formerly the Pennyrile Parkway) in Nortonville, the Purchase Parkway for its entire length, and the former Pennyrile Parkway from the Western Kentucky Parkway to U.S. Route 41 (US 41) on the southern outskirts of Henderson. The auxiliary Interstate Highways (also called three-digit Interstate Highways) are a supplemental subset of the freeways within the Interstate Highway System of the United States.
