Monroe Nathan Work (August 15, 1866–May 2, 1945) was an African American sociologist who founded the Department of Records and Research at the Tuskegee Institute in 1908. Robert Josias "Raphael" Morgan was a Jamaican-American Orthodox priest of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, designated as the "Priest-Apostolic to America and the West Indies" (Ιεραποστολος), later the founder and superior of the Order of the Cross of Golgotha, and thought to be the first Black Orthodox cleric in America.
