Johannes Cornelis "Hans" van Baalen (born 17 June 1960) is a Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) serving as a Member of the European Parliament and Leader of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy in the European Parliament since 14 July 2009. He also is President of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party since 21 November 2015.
