She is also known for starring in films such as Academy Award-nominated O Quatrilho, box-office hit Se Eu Fosse Você and its sequel, and the recent Lula, Son of Brazil, which is the second most expensive Brazilian film of all time, after Nosso Lar. In 2013, she starred the movie Reaching for the Moon along with Miranda Otto, and directed by Bruno Barreto.
